As of 6pm last night I was dismissed from jury duty. And of course I am totally delighted as I have plans to go to the Scrapbook Expo this weekend. I celebrated this morning by going to the dog park with Bentley, Stella (a.k.a. Wilderness Girl) and Chandler. Bentley jumped all over my daughter covering her in muddy paw prints at the park. I watched from a distance and laughed. And when we got in our car for the drive back she exclaimed, "Bentley did this!" I replied with "he didn't do it to me" and feigned surprise. So Kris if you read this now you know that I watched and saw the whole thing happen at the large dog park gated area. We are now back at home, and they are air drying their poodle coats after having received "pawberry" shampoo baths. I did take some fun pictures of them playing at the dog park.
I was reading in a scrapbook magazine that it is fun to zero in on your pets eyes and nose and cropping closely. I look at this photo and Stella just seems so deep in thought. Now that I have typed that thoughtful statement I am trying it on another photo while blogging. I have now used this technique on a picture of my sock monkey. It, too, looks deep in thought! In conclusion, if you want to make anything with eyes and a nose look thoughtful, crop it! I met a lot of people this week that had the same thoughtful look on their faces as they played their important role as juror. Is that thoughtful or vacant? You be the judge! (I just can't get away from the legalese)!
