How do you like your coffee? This is only a test.

I am testing out my mobile blog and I want to share with you that I find it amazing that it is possible with just a phone to "blog on". I see a new level of phone wars ahead! Rusty wrote me an email professing shock that I would drink Starbucks in Turkey. What can I say? Although Turkish coffee is wonderful, there is something to be said for being able to drink quickly without fear of choking on grinds. I am always on the go and therefore "how to drink my coffee" is not what is uppermost in my mind. It is the laptop in front of me that gets my attention when I am on the road. However, since you say you still love me despite this flaw - I say ditto to you! Let me also share with my coffee club friends, that in my travels around the globe to date, that Starbucks dark roasted coffees have been consistently the same in flavor which suits me just fine. Also, its that sense of being home when you are in a far off land that gives comfort!

To the family at large and my fun loving students - setting up for mobile blogging will impact you on some level--- of course, you know that. To Rusty, I am surprised that you didn't post your dismay as a comment. You are such a good soul and I am lucky to have you in my life.

To Debra, my inserts have arrived.

OK, so I'll post a late comment on your coffee drinking habits. As you remember, I was in the navy and also in the Army Reserves. I know coffee and its a life blood to the men and women in the services. Anyone can have Starbucks, anywhere, BUT it tastes much, much better when you have that first cup upon coming home to the USA. AND....
Its all in the water....

I must admit that after travelling abroad the first cup in the USA is always best! And yes, it is in the water. Happy Halloween Rusty!

Cookie, you are far too techno for me. Blogging by phone? but I thought phones were just for talking!

Love, the sister in law who remains employed (vs. the other ones)

I don't know about blogging from your phone, but I just discovered when flipping tv channels that you can shop from television using the select button on your remote control. That's new to me! Home Shopping has it on their screen.
This communication field is really something, isn't it?

Have fun in N.J.

Love, Betsy

Betsy, I can't wait for Comcast to fix all three of my services so that I can test out shopping on the remote! Who would have thought that I would test out mobile blogging only to become completely dependent on it while dealing with a sketchy comcast service? The weather just warmed up and it is working intermittently on the internet for the moment! So I am stealing this moment to respond!
