Valentine's Day is approaching fast and it's a great time to embroider a gift!

It was almost 12 years ago when I took the Brother Card of beautiful fancy letters and imported four letters one at a time on to my version 1 PE Design software to create this design for a wooden box cut out and inside I filled it with chocolates. I was quite happy with it, as I had managed to stitch silver thread throughout the design without thread breaks. We have come a long way from version 1 to version 8.02 in our PE Design/Palette software. And so many other embroidery software packages have joined the ranks with each of them offering special features. So many of us have several brands and I am one of them.

Every now and then, I still pop in a Brother/Babylock Embroidery Card and relive the delight as I watch my machine stitch out designs that are pre-programmed with no computer needed. Of course, today we have greater flexibility with lots of choices thanks to computers, cd's, usb drives, etc. and also with the big learning curve under our belts it is a whole new world for embroidery opportunities. I am so into making cute socks, fun gloves, little clothing accessories that I decided to put a set of small designs to be used easily with socks, gloves, hats, scarfs - to express how much I care for the people in my life. Simple in design, and adorable when stitched. See them close up on the website. 12 cute little designs that stitch out easily and in just a couple of minutes each. How cute they will look on a pair of socks with crisp red and white ribbon. The little baseball heart could be stitched with baby blue. The letters are small and stitch out crisply. I will put some projects up later this week. Definitely a bargain with so many uses not just Valentines. The designs fit in less than a 2" square and are a set in a baker's dozen!
