Drowning in Red, White and Black Fabric...

My last several teaching events have involved red, white and black fabrics.  All the kits were sold but in coming home from the last conference, I stumbled upon two more bolts of fabric!  What was I thinking? So it would seem that my summer projects and gifts will all be done in these fabrics. Since these three colors are not a combination for my own wardrobe - I am decorating with it and even my poodle, Stella will be sporting it.
To the gals in my club, yes, this is your Place-mat Project & napkins for Monday. To my newsletter subscribers, yes, that is your Americana Tag In the Hoop Design for this month. Stare hard and you will see that the inner star is navy blue thread and not black!   And to my poor little Stella: yes, I will take you out on that picnic walk - don't give up on me yet!

The monthly newsletter is going out tonight to all subscribers.  If you are not yet a subscriber, go to cookiescreations.com and fill out the subscription box on the site.  Don't miss another free design and project idea!  (Even if the samples will be using a lot of red, white and black fabric!)

Oh no, I just remembered I left a box of fabric in the studio and I think it has fabric strips in guess what?  Red, white and black....  more crazy quilting ahead with those strips! There is no escape...

AH!.... the never ending bolt syndrome.. I know it well! Maybe a nice big picnic blanket for someone..that would use up a lot of fabric! Love the star design.. perfect for so many things this Summer! :)

Excellent suggestion, Maddie! I picked up a coordinating picnic basket 2 days ago and a blanket would be a perfect addition- thanks!
